Carsten LohffHarpsichordist,
studied his instrument and musicology at the Musikhochschule of
Hambourg, his birth town. He carried on his musical studies
with
Johann Sonnleitner in Zurich, Bob van Asperen in La Haye and Gustav
Leonhardt in Amsterdam.

Anne-Catherine BücherHarpsichordist and organist, has accomplished her musical studies with Michèle Dévérité, Norbert Pétry Huguette Dreyfus, Françoise Lengellé Robert Kohnen, Martin Gester und Jesper Christensen. She’s also teaching harpsichord at the Academy of Metz. Regularly invited for master classes and international academies of ancient music, she performs as soloist and continuist in all Europe and Latin America. She directs the Ensemble “le Concert Lorrain » since 2002. Member of Compania Musical led by Josep Cabré, she also plays with le Concert Spirituel of Hervé Niquet and the Arsys of Pierre Cao, both with whom she has made several recordings. She works in collaboration with the Opera of Nancy for the preparation of baroque productions. |
Christine MoranChristine Moran, violinist, received her diploma from the university of California in Berkeley where she learned harpsichord with Laurette Goldberg. She pursued her baroque violin education in Canada with Carlo Novi. She owns a master of music of the University of Montreal, where she has teached chamber music, played and record with the Arion Ensemble and the Studio of ancient music of Montreal. Living in Germany since 1995, she is also member of the Ensemble Musica Fiata and of the Cappella Coloniensis. She plays in North America with the Trinity Consort. |

Benjamin PerrotBenjamin Perrot, theorbist, studied lute, theorbo and baroque guitar in Paris with Eric Bellocq and Claire Antonini, as well as continuo at the Baroque Studio of Versailles where he tooks advantage of the teaching of Yvon Repérant. He improved then with Pascal Monteilhet. He is invited nowadays as soloist and continuist in Ensembles such as Il Seminario Musicale of Gérard Lesne, L’Ensemble Pierre Robert of Frédéric Désenclos, le Concert Spirituel of Hervé Niquet. Together with Florence Bolton, he has founded and co-directs the Ensemble La Rêveuse. Benjamin Perrot teaches lute and theorbo at the Conservatory of Versailles and in various training courses. He's also Chef de Chant at the Center of Baroque Music of Versailles. |

Stefan LegéeStefan Legée, sackbutist, first studied music in Reims with Amédée Grivillers, then in Paris in the class of Gilles Millières. He obtained the third Price of the International Contest of Prag in 1987. His very diversified musical activity mainly articulates itself around Ancient Music. He plays with Jordi Savall, William Christie, Les Saqueboutiers de Toulouse, La Fenice, René Jacobs, Fabio Biondi and the Ensemble "Ventosum". Stéphane Legée has participated to numerous creations, is also trombone soloist of the orchestra of the « Concerts Colonne » and teaches at the Musical Conservatory of St Maur. |
Freddy EichelbergerFreddy Eichelberger, organist and harpsichordist, was born in Paris. After deep studies of organist and harpsichordist, he mainly dedicates himself to chamber music on ancient instruments and to musical theatre with for instance the Ensemble « Les Witches ». His growing taste for improvisation brought him to play with musicians of all origin, as well as being a teacher and soloist at the Festival of Improvised Music of Lausanne and in various academies. He co-organizes the Edition of complete Bach cantatas to be performed in the Bastille Eglise Réformée of Paris.

Julie HasslerJulie Hassler, soprano, first studied bassoon, percussion, composition and voice at the conservatory in her native Montpellier. She then specialized in the performance of early music at the Paris Conservatory and at the Studio Baroque de Versailles. Since 1993 she appears regularly with different ensembles such as Les Musiciens du Louvres (Marc Minkowski), La Grande Ecurie et la Chambre du Roy (Jean-Claude Malgoire), La Symphonie du Marais (Hugo Reyne), and Doulce Mémoire (Denis Raisin-Dadre). Her repertoire, though principally baroque, also includes Renaissance works as well as contemporary music. Notably, she participated, with Les Jeunes Solistes (Rachid Safir), in the first performance of Fénelon’s madrigals on the Duino Elegies by Rilke. She teaches baroque singing at the Charles Münch Conservatory in Paris. |

Pierre-Alain ClercPierre-Alain
Clerc, organist, is titular of the organs in churches St-Laurent and
St-Paul his home town Lausanne in Switzerland. He also teaches organ at
the Music Conservatory of Lausanne and harpsichord as well as basso
continuo at the Center of Ancient Music in Geneva. In parallel to his
activity of concert performer, he regularly plays as comedian. Both
these musical and theatrical activities have naturally led him to start
studying musical rhetoric first, French classical declamation then,
both of which he teaches through lectures, training classes and
conferences.
